Work has now started to rebuild PSL/PSA. It is expected that a new version (v7.0) will be available early 2011. The rebuild of PSL/PSA will use completely new technology rather than being a port of earlier versions. The following table sets out the current view of releases: | Version | Characteristics | | 7.0 | Implementation of Level 1 form shown in Business Process Analysis | | 8.0 | Addition of Level 2 objects and relationships shown in Business Process Analysis book.
| | 9.0 | Full functionality based on PSL/PSA v6.0

Welcome to the revamped home page for PSL/PSA, the world's most powerful requirements modelling toolkit. Over the coming months this site will be expanded by moving across all the original site materials, and then developed further. Register now and make your own contributions. It will be wonderful to see content developed and added by the many people over the years who have had any involvement or interest in PSL/PSA, the ISDOS or PRISE projects at the University of Michigan, or any of the derivative tools. Much material from the archives will be made available. The PSL language syntax is now available in its entirety at this website. Work is underway to make available a new version of PSL/PSA during 2011. A decision has yet to be taken to retain this as proprietary, or make it available aqs an open source product. Your views will be welcome. The platform for the site is open source Joomla. This has been selected so that it is easy for you to make you contribution to the site, commenting, and adding new sections as you see fit. The site is maintained by Geoffrey Darnton. |
